The first Transformer Shia ever dealt with.

#inktober day 2 feat. William Lennox from #Transformers. I believe that he has no idea how to dress outside a military uniform, so here’s his idea of vacation attire. Sarah Lennox is not pleased.

What they smell like: crisp, cool scents (most likely from aftershave) and gun oil.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): He sleeps in any position and anywhere; life in the military taught him that when you get the opportunity to sleep, you take it. I see Lennox as an early riser, someone who gets up with the sun. Overall, he’s a light sleeper and will wake up at the slightest sign of trouble. His internal clock needs resetting when he’s on a 3-day no-sleep op though, so once he’s back on safe territory, he’s out like a light.
What music they enjoy: He shares Ironhide’s taste for rock music, stuff that gets his blood pumping for their latest mission. At home, he likes more mellow stuff (alternative rock that plays on the radio, a little bit of Johnny Cash, mostly stuff that he can sing along with). Lennox is not particularly talented at singing, but he’s not terrible at it either.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning: He has the whole ‘getting ready in the mornings’ thing down to a science. Lennox can shower, shave and be ready to go in under ten minutes. He drove Sarah a little nuts when he first came home, because he kept checking his watch every thirty seconds as if to say ‘alright, time’s up, let’s go’. She had to remind him that this was a trip to the grocery store to restock on some essentials and not a ‘get the cube to the Black Hawk waiting on the other side of the war torn city’ mission.
Their favorite thing to collect: Family photos when he’s at home, tacky selfies with the autobots (mostly Ironhide, who doesn’t get it at all but still goes along with it anyway because it makes Lennox happy and Ironhide has a soft spot for this human) when he’s at NEST. If he had a facebook, he’d post the most photos. He doesn’t have any social media accounts, so he requisitioned a home server and high def portable camera. His memory card and cell phone are both encrypted to cybertronian levels of security, so there’s no worry about getting hacked (Glen Whitmann tried and declared it un-hackable).
Left or right-handed: He’s right handed in the movies (it’s the hand he gestures with and he wears a watch on his left wrist) , but being in the military, I think he’s capable of using his left hand as well.
Religion (if any): I see Lennox as being protestant; he’s not into super ritualistic aspects of religion (think Catholicism or Orthodoxy), but he says prayers at night, when he wakes up and a quick one before charging into battle, because in his line of work, you never know.
Favorite sport: Lennox loves sports, period. Football, basketball and baseball all share the top spot of ‘favorite’. He and Epps are hyper competitive during downtime and they usually pull their army buddies into a game. Fourth of July bashes at home aren’t complete without a friendly game of football in the backyard. He’s hoping that Annabelle takes up some kind of sport when she’s older.
Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc): For starters, he wears the most awful civilian clothing imaginable (specifically, this shirt. Sarah hates it. Lennox? Lennox sees nothing wrong with it. He’s not actually colorblind, but he doesn’t know how to dress outside of the standard ‘white/beige/olive green/navy blue/black’ military color scheme). Lennox wears tacky Hawaiian shirts un-ironically while on vacation.
Touristy things? Lennox does them all. When Annabelle is older, he’ll take the family on a cross-country road trip where they’ll snap a million photos in front of tourist traps like that giant ball of yarn, visit all the military museums and memorials, and find all the local dives for good food (think all that delicious food you see on Diner’s, Drive ins and Dives).
Favorite kind of weather: Lennox missed the rain while stationed overseas. His favorite kind of weather are short summer showers, because they don’t last long enough to become depressing and there’s usually an awesome rainbow at the end.
A weird/obscure fear they have: Lennox would be lying if he said he wasn’t a little suspicious of all the household appliances when he came back from Mission City. Sarah found him eyeing the coffee pot one morning as if the thing was going to transform and pitch his coffee mug across the kitchen. He had Ironhide scan all the appliances after Sam’s little incident with the All-Spark shard in Revenge of the Fallen. Sarah wasn’t too thrilled about this, but Sam’s belief that blenders “are evil and should be under 24-hour surveillance” only made Lennox’s stance on the issue that much stronger.
The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: Baseball throw (the one where you knock over the bottles). He’s a little smug about having a record at the local carnival. Sarah still has the stuffed animal that he won on their first date.
